At Cats Protection we welcome volunteers with open arms, whether you are young or old, male or female, there's a place for you with us!
Why become a volunteer?
Volunteering is the most worthwhile thing you can ever do. It gives a real
sense of achievement, allows the development of new skills and the social
possibilities are endless!
Much of Cats Protection's work is carried out by volunteers, many of whom have full time jobs too. You can do lots of different things at a branch or adoption centre, from hands on work with the cats as a fosterer or feline chauffeur,, to public relations or fundraising. If you have a skill then we can use it! All you need to do is get in touch with us.
In addition to the roles we've highlighted in ‘What’s your talent?’, there are other volunteering opportunities/positions at our branches and adoption centres. Please contact your nearest branch or adoption centre to find out more.
Sound good?
If you're tempted to join us, please complete our online volunteering form. Or simply give your local branch or adoption centre a call. We will be delighted to hear from you.
Unfortunately, due to child protection legislation we are unable to take on volunteers under 16 years old in our branches, adoption centres and shops. Under 16s are welcome to fundraise for us and can do so by requesting a fundraising pack here.
