Feet
From Hereford

Photo: UNP
Ten-year-old Hereford moggy, Feet, earned his place in the final thanks to his devotion to both his owner, Amanda Preece, and elderly former neighbour, Margaret Went.
After the ginger tom befriended Margaret, he visited every day for four years until Amanda moved to a new home 20 miles away. But the friendship between the two was so strong that Amanda takes Feet to spend the day with Margaret every Thursday. Amanda and Margaret have now become close friends, all thanks to this special cat!

Pip
From Salisbury, Wiltshire

Salisbury puss, Pip, made it into the last four due to the support she has given to her leukaemia-suffering owner, Jessica Ford.
Jessica, 19, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in February 2007. After a month in intensive care she returned home, having lost her hair and two stone in weight, to continue her recovery. Since then, Pip has hardly left her side. Jessica is now in remission and hopes to return to college in September, but knows that Pip will be there for her whatever her circumstances.

Struie & Meallie
From Inverness

Inverness duo Struie and Meallie earned their place in the final due to the companionship that they gave to the parents of owner, Rhoda McVey.
Rhoda adopted Struie and Meallie almost a decade ago and, when the family moved from Glasgow to Inverness to care for her parents, the cats played their part too. When her mother went into a care home, Rhoda was allowed to take Struie to visit her. Following her mother’s death, both cats were a source of great comfort to her grieving father until his death earlier this year.
