Cat gallery

Here are some cats that have already found a loving new home.

Ziggy

Ziggy
Adopted in May, gorgeous Ziggy is learning to trust again after he was accidentally and traumatically shipped over from Israel. His new owner says she is delighted to be the one to restore Ziggys' faith in humans.

Vincent and Mylo

Vincent and Mylo
Double trouble comes in the form of four month old brothers Vincent and Mylo (the one in the bag). It seems hard to believe that Mylo would rarely emerge from under the sofa at first. Now he has over-come his timid nature, he can join his sibling in a game of wooden-floor surfing!

Tammy

Tammy
In memory of Tammy who lived to the grand age of 19 years. Rehomed aged 4, Tammy had found the ideal life for herself and enjoyed the cattiest of pleasures including climbing pear trees and finding the warmest place in the house for a nap. She will be greatly missed by her owners.

Ruby and Maisie

Ruby and Maisie
Eight month old sisters Ruby and Maisie (from left to right) have recently found their perfect home and have settled in well. Both have very different characters however. Whilst Ruby is the quiet charmer, Maisie is a risk-taker and a dare-devil!

Rodders and Delboy

Rodders and Delboy
Rodders and Delboy were brought in to the Oxford & District Branch after they were found abandoned in a busy street. Although initially nervous, they have grown in confidence and now enjoy playing in the fields that surround their new home.

Precious and Tiger

Precious and Tiger
Mother and son duo Precious and Tiger enjoy their new life of luxury and all the treats that come with it. Each have their own place on the sofa and as much attention as they could want. Such decadence!

Lindy

Lindy
Lindy was adopted from the National Cat Adoption Centre in July this year. Her owner is thrilled to report that she is an affectionate and playful companion who loves the Great Outdoors (and the warm indoors).

Josie

Josie
Josie, who has recently relocated to Leeds, has spent the last year discovering the joy of having human staff to provide food and fuss. Believed to have been at least part feral, she may never be a cuddly cat, but expresses her gratitude by bringing home small gifts of twigs and worms.

Fudge

Fudge
Seven year old Fudge is shown here indulging in his favourite sport; hogging the bed! Whilst he may not be great at sharing his snoozing places, he loves being around his new owners and can be often be found waiting at the front window for them to return from work.

Biscuit

Biscuit
Biscuit (aka 'The Bickster') was terribly nervous when she was first rehomed having believed to have had a harrowing start to life. Initially refusing to go outside for 6 months, her new owners have worked extremely hard to turn her round and gain her confidence. She's now making up for a slow start and enjoys nothing more than going on her travels and engaging in a spot of stalking.

Bezzie

Bezzie
The adorable Bezzie was only a kitten when she was adopted 10 years ago. She is very loyal and great company. In fact, she rarely leaves her owners side.

Sassy

Sassy
This cheeky little kitten is always getting into mischief. She is always on the go exploring and looking for adventure and likes to have a cuddle when she is sleepy.

Harry

Harry
Adopted cats Protection’s Salisbury Branch in 2001, this two year old made himself at home within an hour. Not too proud to beg for the odd prawn, Harry doesn’t do laps, which is probably just as well because he’s currently on the large side!

Betty

Betty
Now known as Martha, this three year old is fully enjoying life along with our other housemates, two cats and dog. She still remains the prettiest of them all, sitting in the summer sun.

Jasper

Jasper
After finding a new home, Jasper (formerly known as Sylvester) immediately bonded with the children but was cautious of men and raised voices. As you can see, three years on and he's still quite shy around strangers, but very sweet tempered, loving and happy cat.

Erin

Erin
This tabby cat was adopted from Cats Protection’s Croydon Branch just over a year ago. She is a friendly, adventurous and feisty little thing and loves the outdoors.

Blaze, Bradley and Bailey

Blaze, Bradley and Bailey
Brothers, Blaze (front), Bradley (left) and Bailey (right) were adopted from our Newbury & District Branch last October. Blaze potters around chirping to himself all the time. Bradley likes to stretch his paws out to you and gives “high fives”. Bailey is quite timid, but will jump up on the bed for cuddles in the morning!

Mitzi & Fernandez

Mitzi & Fernandez
Mitzi & Fernandez This pair were rehomed from our Bridgend Adoption Centre almost two years ago as kittens (brother and sister). Tabby Fernandez is always purring and always wants a cuddle, while his sister, Mitzi loves to explore and play outdoors.

Inka

Inka
Inka was adopted along with her two lovely sisters on Christmas Eve 2007. The trio had been in foster care for quite a while. This indoor cat loves nothing more than to play with her siblings and curl up on her fleece.

Whiskey

Whiskey
This beautiful ginger tom was adopted 2 years ago from the Hereford Adoption Centre. He was brought into our care after he was hit by a car and sadly, had to have one of his leg amputated. Nervous at first, Whiskey is now the happiest of cats and never goes far from home.

Marple

Marple
Marple, a 3 year old British blue, was adopted from CP in November 2006. She is a very loving cat with a playful nature. Her name is Marple, because she likes to investigate everything!

Carlos

Carlos
Taken in 2 years ago when he was found in the garden, Carlos’ current owners say they love him to bits! Sadly he’s had to deal with a few major health problems since then, but is currently stable.

Lance

Lance
Lance (formerly known as Jeremy) was rehomed by CP when he was 4 months old. He soon settled into his new name and is now a prolific hunter, bringing home his many catches of pigeons, magpies and mice, not all of them dead! He’s an early riser too, waking at 4.30am, in time for breakfast…

Jackson

Jackson
Jackson was adopted from the Warrington Adoption Centre in January 2007. He ‘owns’ 3 adults and keeps them busy every day. He isn't the bravest of cats, but is certainly very handsome and loves nothing better than to have his tummy tickled, reminding you with a gentle tap if he feels he is being ignored.

Bird and Pippin

Bird and Pippin
These two cats, Bird and Pippin, look just like a couple in love as they watch the birds together.

Ricky and Rusty

Ricky and Rusty
Born under a shed and taken in by the Wellingborough & Rushden CP branch, Ricky and Rusty were both very timid when at 12 weeks old they were rehomed together. Now it’s a different story, at 27 weeks, they terrorise anything that moves…as well as anything that doesn’t!

Tyke

Tyke
Tyke started life in Coventry, but now lives in Darlington as an alley cat. He has the best of both worlds though, when his owner goes away, he takes him to stay with relatives in the countryside where Tyke gets to be a country bumpkin.

Kizzy

Kizzy
Kizzy was adopted from CP in February 2006 when she was only 12 weeks old. She is a lively little cat with a huge personality, a joy to have around. She loves to cuddle up under the duvet for cuddles, and will sit and watch the tropical fish for hours.

Lizzy

Lizzy
Adopted in 1995, Lizzy is a loving, friendly character and loves to sleep around the house with her two paws either side of her head.

Toby

Toby
This good-natured cat was adopted from the Evesham & District Branch at the beginning of February. His favourite pastimes include watching wildlife programmes on TV, chasing his favourite toy mouse and cuddling up on the sofa.

Austin

Austin
Adopted from the National Cat Adoption Centre back in November, along with his brother Ralph. The pair were quite timid when they first arrived at their new home, but have now grown into a couple of gorgeous little terrors!

Lovely Lily

Lovely Lily
…was adopted in Nov 2005 along with her brother Tig. This photo is of Lily enjoying one of her favourite pastimes, relaxing in her garden.
